But it is apprehended that FDI can caues a decrease in exports. Accordingly, the purpose of this stduy is to ascertain whether FDI will bring about a decrease in exports or not. As a result of analysis, most of FDI in Korea rather increase exports than decrease exports. Especially in the case of production effciency seekers and labor intensive industry, complementary relationship to an increase in exports remarkably appeared. Therefore, our government should resolutely improve the surroundings of investment in order to activate FDI.
